Having worked with ICE, FIDIC and NEC forms of contracts on projects around the globe for over 30 years, I would point out in an age where universities are turning out commercial managers and quantity surveyors that cannot measure, such a publication is vital to allow them to develop skills, understand what is covered by an item in the bill of quantities, and how to correctly measure the said item.
